AJSFF

The Australia-Japan Student Film Forum (AJSFF) is a cross-cultural event bringing together emerging filmmakers from Japan and Australia to share their visions through short film. Recent film school graduates and undergraduates will stun audiences with a handpicked selection of high-calibre films from both countries.

Running in association with Sydney Film School and the Japan Academy of Moving Images, the forum celebrates its 8th year, where students will vie for JAL Best Australian Film.

The Director of the winning film will be invited to participate in the Kawasaki ShinYuri Film Festival with 3 - 4 nights paid accommodation, courtesy of ShinYuri Film Festival. They will also receive a return airfare to Japan flying Japan Airlines, and an award from the Japan Foundation, Sydney to acknowledge the momentous occasion.

Other awards are on offer to be won, including prizes for Thomson-Canopus Editing Excellence and a Kodak Audience’s Choice Award. So come along and cast your vote – entry is free!
